Antalya parking guide

In Turkey's tourism capital, finding parking becomes a serious challenge in summer around Kaleiçi, Konyaaltı Beach, and Lara. Understanding seasonal fluctuations is key to the right parking strategy.

Kaleiçi and the historic center

Kaleiçi's narrow stone streets are largely closed to vehicle traffic. Use multi-storey car parks on Cumhuriyet Avenue or Atatürk Avenue when visiting the area. Car parks within a 5-minute walk of the pedestrian zone are usually more affordable.

Konyaaltı Beach

The Konyaaltı Beach area is extremely busy in summer. There are limited open car parks along the shore that fill early. Alternatively, use car parks near 5M Migros or Deepo Outlet and walk to the beach.

Lara and Muratpaşa

Parking along Lara Avenue is harder due to hotel and restaurant density. TerraCity and MarkAntalya AVM car parks are good alternatives with large capacity and air-conditioned environments in summer heat. Street parking is easier in Muratpaşa's inner areas.

Tips for finding parking in Antalya

  1. In summer season (June–September), search for parking along the coast before noon.
  2. Leave your car at car parks on the ring road instead of driving into Kaleiçi.
  3. Park near the Antray (tram) line and use public transport.
  4. Finding parking is much easier in winter — tourist traffic drops.
  5. Type "Antalya" or a neighborhood name on ParkYeriBul to view the current car park list.
